Planning House are delighted to have assisted Imperator Group in partnership with Castles and Coasts Housing Association in securing planning permission for 27 affordable dwellings, 30% of which would be bungalows. We provided a Planning statement incorporating an Open Space Assessment and Affordable Housing Statement to support the application.
The approved scheme lies within a predominantly residential area of Blyth, and the design of the proposed units is one of traditional elevational treatments that reflects modern needs, whilst complimenting the character of the surrounding area.
Overall, taking a balanced view of the benefits of the proposal when weighed against the loss of the intended protected open space, Northumberland County Council’s Planning Committee considered that development to be acceptable and the site would be a suitable location for new development.
Don’t worry we don’t just help developers with large schemes we love helping individual clients too. If you’re looking at progressing a planning proposal take a loot at our eBook on the Application Process.
