On 1 July 2026, Planning House marks a decade of helping clients navigate the planning system with clarity, confidence and results.
Built on Experience
While Planning House was founded in 2016, the experience behind it spans far longer.
Founder Chris Pipe brought a wealth of knowledge from both the public and private sectors, including senior roles within local authorities and a major PLC. That dual perspective, understanding how planning works from both sides, has been central to our success.
From day one, our focus has been simple:

Cutting Through the Red Tape
Over the past 10 years, the planning landscape has continued to evolve – new policies, changing priorities, and increasing complexity.
Our role has remained the same: to simplify that complexity for our clients.
As an independent consultancy, we’ve built our reputation on, securing planning permissions, managing appeals and enforcement issues and supporting projects from concept to approval. We believe planning advice should be clear, realistic and effective, and that’s what we deliver.
