We’re delighted to announce approval of a large shed (retrospectively) , extension to an existing shed and extension to the existing office building at J&B Recycling, an award winning recycling facility in Hartlepool. The application also sought to consolidate existing planning permissions for the use of the site in line with the current operation of the recycling site.
J&B’s Hartlepool site is located within an industrial area and the overall development was designed to reflect the scale and appearance of the existing buildings and area whilst creating an entrance feature to improve the appearance of the building.
The North East’s leading independent waste management firm, J&B Recycling is an award wining business with a focus of recycling and reducing waste to landfill. They employ 200 staff and operates from four sites across the North East, processing more than 200,000 tonnes of material each year.
