Planning House have a passion for social housing, and we’re absolutely ecstatic to have assisted in securing approval for an affordable residential development scheme comprising the erection of 18 no. residential dwellings with associated access, infrastructure and landscaping; and provision of a temporary construction compound.
The application site sits within the development limits of Greatham village which is a sustainable village within the Hartlepool area. The scheme was submitted by Hartlepool Borough Council to provide true Council Housing. A significant number of objections were received against the application, however during a thorough debate at Planning Committee approval was granted subject to a s106 legal agreement.
