Planning Success – Retrospective Planning – Double Garage in Hartlepool

Planning House are pleased to have assisted in securing planning consent for a double garage in the countryside in Hartlepool.  The double garage was originally built without planning permission on a farm complex which had been converted into several high quality homes on the edge of the town.

Planning House provided a supporting statement outlining the benefits of the proposal and compliance with planning policies along with an appeal decision supporting the principle of the development.

The site location is within a Special Landscape Area, as such design and setting were important considerations, the plan drawer, Graeme Pearson from Gap Design revised the plans to ensure that the development would not have a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the area.

If you’re looking to extend you may not need a planning consultant, however a good plan drawer or architect is essential.  We work with some great people and even if you don’t need us Contact Us and we can point you in the right direction of someone that can help you.
