Planning Success – Leicestershire

Planning House were delighted to secure planning permission for a series of extensions and alterations to a pair of semi detached dwellings in a residential area of Loughborough, Leicestershire.

The proposals included ground floor and first floor extension and the provision of large rear dormer windows to maximise the space within both properties. The proposals were noted as being large by planning officers however Planning House were able to provide robust justification in relation to the limited visual impact by virtue of the location of the bulk of the proposals and the screening provided by the host and surrounding properties. Therefore officers were satisfied that the proposals would be in accordance with planning policy and approved the development under delegated powers.
