Planning permission has been secured for a detached 4 bedroom dwelling within Staveley. The site is located in the town centre within the Staveley conservation area and surrounding by a number of Listed Buildings.
Chesterfield Borough Council Planning Officers considered that the proposal would be appropriately designed and would not cause adverse impacts on the visual amenity and character of the conservation area or setting of surrounding listed buildings. They also recognised that due to the siting and scale of the proposal there would be no adverse impacts on the residential amenity of the adjoining neighbours.
The officers recommendation was to approve the development which was agreed by the Planning Committee unanimously.
